About the role:
As one of our in-house finance professionals you will help provide a comprehensive accounting service to a select portfolio of our UK and European based entities, all focused on high-value assets and high-value transactions. To ensure compliance with both statutory and professional requirements all work will be carried out in line with accepted IFRS accounting standards and Companies law.
What will you be doing?
- Producing Income Statements, Balance sheets and other financial accounting statements for a select portfolio of entities.
- Providing reconciliations across the business of everything from bank statements to the monthly payroll journal.
- Keeping the fixed asset register up to date by posting all additions, disposals and depreciations correctly.
- Assisting in the Angel Trains Group annual external statutory audit.
- Supporting the tax team on an ad-hoc basis with tax computations and vat returns.
What do we need from you?
- A recognised accounting qualification with post qualification experience. Qualification as a chartered accountant in England & Wales is extremely desirable.
- Experience working within a commercial environment (either in-house or in-practice) and helping prepare financial accounts and statements.
- Strong MS Excel Skills.
- Experience using Oracle E-Business Suite (or a similar ERP).
