IT Apprentice

Due to business growth, we are seeking a high calibre aspiring IT professional to join our team in London, on a permanent basis.

About the role:

When you join our IT Support team as an apprentice and you’ll take your first step into a career that encourages curiosity, innovation, and hands-on problem‑solving. You’ll also work towards competing a Level 3 Azure Cloud Support Specialist apprenticeship.

What will you be doing?

• Providing 1st‑line IT support (in‑person and remote), logging and managing incident tickets and escalating where needed.
• Supporting user account management across Microsoft 365, on‑prem systems, Oracle EBS and cloud platforms.
• Assisting with network services including LAN, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN and basic office cabling tasks.
• Building and deploying new hardware (Windows laptops, iOS devices, telephony and AV equipment) and maintain the IT Build Room.
• Contributing to user training materials and occasional IT projects across development, infrastructure or cyber teams.
• Maintaining accurate apprenticeship training records and proactively developing technical skills.

What do we need from you?

• 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
• GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
• Strong communication, teamwork, prioritisation and attention to detail.
• Keen interest in IT, with basic IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
• Flexible, proactive, “can‑do” attitude aligned to Angel Trains’ values.
