- Payroll – liaising with our external payroll provider and ensuring that the HR Advisor has delivered 100% accurate payroll inputs.
- Benefits – owning the relationship between the Company and our benefits providers. Conducting regular reviews to ensure value for money and that our offering remains competitive.
- Employee Relations – acting as the first point of contact for managers and employees for ER issues; guiding all parties through the various processes and taking pragmatic approaches to resolution.
- Performance Management – working closely with our Head of HR & OD to ensure our processes are robust, carried out by all managers and conducted alongside regular workforce planning.
- Policies – developing new policies in line with ever changing legislation whilst also ensuring existing policies remain compliant and relevant.
- Projects – it’s an exciting time as we are looking to enhance and upgrade our systems and processes, removing the paperwork and getting more and more online.
What do we need from you?
- A CIPD qualification (ideally Level 7).
- Demonstrable generalist HR experience at a similar level, ideally from within an SME.
- In-depth knowledge of current UK employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Working knowledge of pensions and payroll.
- Previous experience line managing and developing junior colleagues.
- Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills, across all levels of a business.
- Proficiency in using HR Information Systems and management software.
