About the role:
To allow us to better understand our assets, streamline workflows and make better, more informed decisions we are looking for an experienced IT BI Developer to join our team today.
This role will primarily focus of providing report development across Angel Trains date estate, interacting with Microsoft Fabric to generate, operate and maintain BI applications that provide actionable business insights whilst also transforming raw data into coherent and useful reports, charts and dashboards.
This role will play a crucial part in enhancing data visualisation and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
- To be the central source of expertise within our IT team on Microsoft PowerBI/Fabric.
- Develop task-specific data models and general analytical dashboards that provide easily accessible insights.
- Work with the wider development team to build effective solutions and remotely accessible reporting.
- Provide technical support to end user queries regarding the reporting estate.
- Assist in the development and delivery of appropriate end user training material.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of developing applications using Microsoft SQL Server Database and Microsoft PowerBI/Fabric. Experience utilising other analytical tools is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Prior experience working in successful development teams in a commercial environment.
- Experience with troubleshooting reporting solutions.
- Qualified as a Microsoft Certified: PowerBI Data Analyst Associate would be beneficial.
